Hosted by Shivan Sarna | Founder, Chronic Condition Rescue
A curated, evidence-based virtual summit covering the stages of a woman’s life— hormones, digestion, cardiac and metabolic health. 35+ experts. Over 100 studies.
That’s what this summit is. It’s the information that should exist in every doctor’s office and every health class but doesn’t. This summit is organized, backed by science, and each presenter is sharing what they have found to actually work.
I’ve hosted 11 health summits. And every single time, the same thing happens.
During the free streaming, women light up. The messages pour in. “This is the first time anyone has explained this to me in a way that makes sense.” “Why didn’t my doctor know this?” “I’m sending this to my daughter right now.” They take notes. They rearrange their evenings to catch the next session. It’s genuinely one of the most rewarding things I get to witness.
Then the window closes. And three months later, when a new symptom shows up or their daughter asks a question they can’t answer, the details have faded. They can’t remember which expert said what. The notes are somewhere, maybe.
And the thing is, women’s health doesn’t wait for a convenient time to get complicated. It just gets complicated.
I want to talk about something that still makes me angry, even after years of working in this space.
Women weren’t even required to be included in clinical trials in the United States until 1993. That’s not a typo. Nineteen ninety-three. Which means that for decades, the drugs we were prescribed, the dosages we were given, and the diagnoses we received were based on research that was done primarily on men. The assumption was that women were just smaller men with different reproductive organs. (I wish I was exaggerating.)
The National Institute of Health (NIH) allocates roughly 11 percent of its total budget to women’s-health-specific research. Only about 4 percent of pharmaceutical pipelines focus on conditions that exclusively affect women.
And according to the McKinsey Health Institute, women spend 25 percent more of their lives in poor health compared to men—which translates to roughly nine years of feeling unwell, foggy, exhausted, or in pain that could be addressed if the research existed.
This is the backdrop against which your doctor is trying to help you. It’s not necessarily that your doctor doesn’t care—it’s that the research they were trained on wasn’t designed with your body in mind. And the practitioners in this summit? They’ve spent their careers filling in those blanks. They’re the ones reading the studies most doctors don’t have time to find, testing protocols in their clinics, and getting real results with real patients.

This summit is the one I wish my mom had when I was growing up. I wish she’d had it when she was facing her own cancer diagnosis, her oral health crisis, the stress and confusion of trying to take care of everyone else while her own body was falling apart. I wish I’d had it in my twenties when I was experiencing symptoms I didn’t have language for.
I can’t go back and give her this. But I can make sure it’s here for you—and for the women in your life who are asking the same questions we were.
The sessions are the same—but the owned version includes full searchable transcripts, slide decks, the compiled studies document, all speaker bonuses, and on-demand access so you can go back to specific moments whenever you want. Plus, you get Smart Search to get answers fast by typing your question and the answers are pulled from this trusted source. It’s the difference between attending a lecture and owning the textbook.
